Ironman Treadmill Review
Just the name Ironman makes one feel like getting down to a serious workout, and this treadmill does not disappoint. Despite recent moves to overseas manufacturing, these moderately priced running machines are still a good value for under two thousand dollars.
Features and Models
There are several models of Ironman Treadmills, including the ‘1911,’ a budget-friendly stripped down model with no distractions; the ‘1921,’which is a beefier, quieter version of the 1911; and the ‘Inspire.’ This charges a slight premium over comparable units on the market, but it offers quite a bit as well.

For $1300-$1700 dollars, depending on where you shop, it has the basic programmable settings for burning fat, monitoring heart rate, and creating specialized workouts. The incline goes to 10%, it has a solid 3 hp motor which allows it to move at up to ten miles per hour, it analyzes body fat, and the frame itself is made from heavy duty 11 gauge steel.
This machine even has a wireless or grip measure heart rate monitoring device. The whole machine folds up conveniently for storage. There are other models with similar features for a couple hundred less, such as the Sole F80, so compare carefully and look for sales.
One of the newer entries into the Ironman lineup is the Triad. This is another folding treadmill with all the basic features and a couple of unique add-ons to differentiate it. Again, this model seems to be priced out of the competitive range of the market, so look for bargains online or in stores.
The Triad running space is generous and it is fitted with the same powerful motor as the Inspire, and with a 12 year warranty on the motor, there are no concerns about getting a long life of use out of it.
The Ironman treadmill is a quality product, but also not an extraordinary one. For the price, consider models with proven customer service and consistent demonstrated quality.
